Serbian Association for Anglo-American Studies was founded in 2007 with the goal to foster cooperation and communication among the scholars in the field of Anglo-American literature and culture and to circulate relevant information in that field among its members.

For that purpose, SAAS organizes conferences, workshops and round tables which center around the study of U.S. literature and culture.

The focus of the Association is on the cooperation with the English Departments in Serbia and abroad.
